The Wright Life!

Size: not sure we don't have a check up for another month but she's fastly growing out of 3 month clothes.  She's already wearing some 6 month outfits. Sleep: great. I can't believe we've been blessed with another great sleeper, atleast so far!  She's down for the night at 630 and either up twice to nurse (12ish and 3ish) or once around 130/2.  Usually she is good until 6/630 but sometimes fusses around 5 so I'll bring her in with us so she doesn't wake Lily.  Naps are usually in 1-2 hour stretches around 830am and 130pm, but she still cat naps here and there. Food: breastmilk 100%.  Nursing has been so much easier this time around.  I'm nervous to go back to work and start pumping but hoping for the best.  We're working on giving her a bottle more this week so she gets used to it.  She spits up a lot but now we're getting use out of all those bibs and burp cloths we rarely used for Lily! Well I'm super behind in blogging and rather than recap the last 3 weeks I'm just going to randomly share a few thoughts.  Before Thanksgiving and heading down to Orange County for 9 days we took our annual family pictures with our good friend Jean Claire.  Its a side business for her and she is beyond sweet to set aside a couple hours to capture our family memories.  Here are a few of my favorites this year. The girls and I headed to Orange County on the 23rd and surprisingly the flight was pretty painless aside from Lily not wanting to keep her seatbelt on during take off.  The first night there we headed down to the Ritz for their tree lighting and Santa arrived in a woodie with a surfboard on top (only in Southern California).  That week we had lots of park time, walks to the beach, good long naps from the fresh air, happy hour (me not the girls) and just relaxing. Piper turned two months last week.  A month ago I thought she was going to be a little 'harder' than Lily but she has proved to be a pretty darn easy baby.  We've gotten into a pretty great routine the three of us during the week.  It usually looks something like this: 630/7am up for the day. Rollie gets home from the gym and takes Lily out to the kitchen and starts her breakfast while I nurse Piper.  I get dressed, get Piper dressed, and eat breakfast.   830am load up the car and head to stroller strides (I've been trying to go 4x a week).  After strides we either play at the park, run errands, or go to playgroup. 1130/12 head home for lunch and naps. Lily naps from 1-330/4 and I'm trying to get Piper to nap for atleast 2 of those hours.  I either do stuff around the house, prep for dinner or catch up on the Dvr. 4-5 play in the playroom or outside until Daddy gets home.  530 Get Lily dinner. Start making our dinner and cleaning up the house. ...

The weeks are flying by!  Piper is 2 months old already, I can't believe it.  I'm really trying my best to savor every moment since she's our last little baby!  I'll do a separate 2 month post for her soon. Monday we had music class, which is one of Lily's favorite activities.  She does all the hand movements, sings the actual lyrics and dances...its so fun to watch how she's evolved in class over the last few months.  Sadly we are going to take a break from class though. With preschool starting soon and me going back to work we need to save the money as its a pricey activity for a 2 year old :) Hopefully we will start again in the Spring.  After class last week we met up with Melissa and Jack at the park.
