Well, after relaxing for a few weekends we were back on the road last weekend to San Fran again. Rollie and I were lucky enough to stay at the Hyatt in Union Square for free thanks to all of his built up points. Our view on the 32nd floor was amazing! We enjoyed our free happy hour and then headed out to dinner at Urban Tavern. I read about it on yelp, my favorite new obsession. The best way to describe it is fancy bar food, but really really good quality ingredients. We shared bacon tater tots, and a flat iron steak with homemade mac n cheese...everything was to die for! Probably top two steaks I've ever had and that's pretty much all I order when fine dining. We shared a bottle of 07 Fort Ross pinot nior...yum yum and finished the dinner off with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream from North Beach creamery, a local ice shop in the San Fran area. My Aunt called me last week and asked me fore a big favor so...last Thursday we picked up a 10 week old dachshund puppy to surprise my cousin for his birthday. After an interesting 8 hour car ride from Chico to Laguna Niquel with Rufus and a puppy we finally arrived! Thursday we spent time with my family and the new pup...Connor was very surprised and thrilled! Friday we drove back up to LA and spent the day with friends before heading to Brian and Lisa's rehearsal dinner. Saturday was wedding day and Sunday brunch before hitting the road again. Short but great weekend with friends and family!

I'm WAY behind! This whole work thing has left me less time to work on photography and blogging...but I'm ready to catch up today! Two weekends ago my mother in law Janet, Rollie and I went up to Table Mountain in Oroville. Its this crazy flat mountain top and in the spring the flowers are beautiful, we might have a been a bit early so we will have to try back soon for more color.
