Ahhhhhh March!  I'm so happy you are here.  We have lots planned this month which always makes me happy.  We started out the month with Dr. Suess Day at school.  I did the girls hair all crazy and dressed them in colorful backwards outfits. I met a girlfriend at Handline, a cute new place in Sebastapol.  They converted an old Foster Freeze into a hip restaurants where you still order at the window and then dine family style. We celebrated both Dawn and Kristina's birthdays on Friday night at Rosso.  So very thankful for our amazing group of friends.  We of course ate, drank and were merry :) We've been lucky enough to have Sierra babysit the last few Saturdays while Rollie has been in class. She and the girls made brownies on Saturday. Saturday night we impromptu headed to Kristina's for UFC fight and pizza...the kiddos got to watch Moana in her theater. Zero pictures. Sunday Rollie was in class so we lounged around a bit and then

A special trip for Lily

Lily and I jetted down to Laguna for 2 days at the beginning of February.  My Aunt, Uncle, Cousin, her new husband and Grandma were down at my other Aunt and Uncles, so with that much family in one spot I just couldn't be a short plane ride away without joining.  BUT I also didn't think I could handle traveling solo with both girls again so I decided to just take Lily.  We had a blast.  It was really special to spoil her.  We got in around dinner time on Saturday and headed to Hennessy's in Dana Point. Sunday morning my Aunt Sara and our close family friend Melissa headed over to the Montage for yoga.  Pretty serene yoga views.  Later that morning Lily and I headed out for her first pedicure and lunch together.  Sunday afternoon My Aunt had about 15 people over for the SuperBowl...Lily actually fell asleep on my cousin Stefani during the game! Monday it was raining so my Aunt and I headed to a super great spin class at Grit Cycle and then we all

The longest shortest month ever

February was one for the books.  The sickness continued as did the rain. Work has been busy with Spring Release for me and Rollie was promoted to a new position at work (yay!) He is now the new Wine Buyer for Wine Spectrum. We also started potty training Piper and put her in a big bed, both of which are going surprisingly well. I escaped with Lily to Orange County for a few nights to see family (will do a separate post). The girls enjoyed swim lessons at the YMCA with the Kliegl girls. We did get a few days of sunshine and luckily we were watching Quinn and Ensley that morning. Lily woke up on Valentines Day with a terrible flu.  She missed her Valentines Party at school and stayed home from school for 3 days :( When she returned she was the 'shining star' so we brought mini croissants one day to share with her class. I spent Presidents Day weekend in severe pain that landed me in the Emergency Room that Sunday.
