Girls Trip Continued...

Carmel, CA We woke up early walked around the hotel grounds a bit and headed up north to Carmel.  It was another beautiful and unusually warm day, perfect for walking around town and shopping!  We grabbed lunch first at the Village Corner which has a wonderful outdoor patio.  After lunch we walked around town and shopped a bit before heading up to Cathy and Sal's place in Carmel Valley. Arriving just in time for sunset we grabbed a glass of vino and headed out to the patio to catch up with Cathy and enjoy the last few minutes of sunshine.  Cathy prepared a wonderful lasagna dinner for us and then we turned in early to prepare for our next adventure in San Fransisco.     San Fransisco, CA We arrived just in time for lunch and parked right near the Ferry Building, a part of the city I haven't been to yet so it was very fun to venture around.  Sara was dying to go the The Slanted Door...and good choice it was!  After lunch we walked around the Ferry building shops and

Girls Trip Day One, Pismo Beach

Last Monday I headed down to Pismo Beach to meet with the lovely ladies in my family!  It was 80 and sunny...so crazy for this time of year!  I got there a bit early so I checked into the Shore Cliff Best Western...one of the nicest Best Western's I've ever seen...the views were amazing!  I put my stuff in the room and headed down to the little boardwalk/hut in front of our room to snap some pictures. A few minutes later my Mom, Grandma, Aunt Heidi and Aunt Sara arrived!  We settled in and grabbed some wine and headed back down by the water to watch the sunset. After our little cocktail hour we headed to downtown Pismo for dinner, Sara and I had both read about Splash's Cafe, world best clam chowder bowls.  We all went for the clam chowder bread bowl and it was amazing!  After dinner we took a stroll to the end of the pier and then called it an early night.
