25 Weeks with Baby Sis

Image
Cooking time: 25 weeks, 3 days Weight gain: 16 lbs Food aversions/cravings: Nothing new, starting to get to that point where I get full alot faster, which isn't a bad thing.  Smaller more frequent meals are in order. Sleep: Pretty good minus the heat and allergies last week. Movement: lots, this one is way more more active than Lily.  Overall feelings/symptoms: I think I felt braxton hick contractions the other day, but I'm not exactly sure.  Nothing painful but just felt a tightening of the uterus for a few minutes, so I'm guessing that's what it was.  Besides that feeling pretty good. What we've been up to:  We had a nice relaxing Memorial Day weekend.  Swimming, playing on the deck, eating at our new table outside, naps, bbq's, and hanging with friends.  We finished planting a few things in the back (we were waiting for feather grass to come into season) and we replaced to ornamental grasses out front that didn't survive the frost this wi

6 Months with Baby Sis

Well I went to the Dr. on Monday and my due date is now pushed up to the 10th vs. the 15th.  This was the original due date before I had my first trimester ultrasound and that's when they changed it to the 15th but I'm now measure at 24 weeks vs. 23 weeks so I'll take it!  It will of course be frustrating if I go late but oh well, nothing we can do about that! Cooking time: 24 weeks, 2 days Weight gain: 14 lbs, definitely more than with Lily but like I said I'm really not worrying about it this time.  I have enough going on in my life and I figure I'll eat when I'm hungry and try my best to make healthy choices and avoid those chip cravings. Food aversions/cravings: Nothing new. Sleep: Pretty good, a few sleepless hours in the middle of the night but for the most part decent. Movement: lots in the last week and getting stronger too!  Overall feelings/symptoms: my back and hip have been great this week.  We are really going to try our best to walk

Cooking time: 22 weeks, 2 days Weight gain: not sure, I haven't weighed myself.  I'm usually a little too concerned about it but I think for the reminder I will just weigh in at the Dr...bring on the birthday treats  Food aversions/cravings: chips. chips. chips....I have a problem.  Lays were buy one get one free at Target too. Yikes! Sleep: Really good...and I've actually been staying up until 10ish at night. Movement: definite kicks, Rollie has yet to feel though :( Overall feelings/symptoms: my left hip/sciatic is still bugging me alot, but the yard work hasn't helped.  I got a prenatal massage on Mothers Day and it was heavenly.  I love the pillow that they use, your hips rest on top of it making your belly somewhat suspended and its just the right amount of stretch.  What we've been up to: Backyard!  We are in the home stretch.  As hard as it is (and time consuming) to take something like this on ourselves (90% Rollie, 10% me) it is rewarding

Cooking time: 21 weeks, 2 days Weight gain: +11 Food aversions/cravings: chips. Also Asian chopped salad that I just had to make last night. Sleep: Much better.  I still for the most part wake up 2 times a night to pee but I can usually fall back asleep quickly. Movement: kicks are getting stronger which is always a fun milestone  Overall feelings/symptoms: my left hip/sciatic is bugging me a lot. A friend webt to a prenantal chiropractor so maybe I'll check that out.  It makes me nervous for labor. What we've been up to: Mostly our backyard. On minds we had it tilled and this evening Rollie and two coworkers leveled it out with some full dirt.  Now we need to measure and plan the next step which is looking like a rubber mulch area off the deck, sod for the remaining backyard, and some raised beds on the side yard. First pic 21 weeks with lil and second 21 weeks baby sis Feeling big already with more than 4 months to go!! Yikes!                     My new fav pic!
