Christmas 2013

We had a very quiet Christmas this year.  At first I was a bit sad that we wouldn't be with tons of friends and/or family but it was actually pretty nice.  I managed to not put on real clothes or make up for 4 straight which was glorious.  Christmas Eve afternoon we decorated sugar cookies with Kristen and Kerry, then ordered in pizza, drank lots of wine, and played cards against humanity. Christmas morning we were up at the crack of dawn.  Lily went straight to her new kidcraft kitchen!  Then we all opened stockings and took a break from opening gifts to start our breakfast tradition of monkey bread, mimosas,  and bacon.  Super healthy.  The rest of the day we played, opened more gifts, went for a nice walk, and watched Christmas movies.  That night after Lily went to bed Rollie and I made a really nice dinner (tri tip, hasselback potatoes and brussel sprouts with bacon) and opened a good bottle of wine, 2008 parador.  Lily got her kitchen of course, an elephant chair, leap frog picnic basket, books, clothes, and probably her favorite (next to the kitchen) bright start ladybug 'fetch' toy.
