This week (oct 19-26)

This week we took a nice long family walk and played at the park...but first had smoothies & coffee :)

I went to stroller strides 3x with both girls. (It's no joke trying to get all 3 of us out of the house by 830), but I really like it and it's the only way I see myself getting a workout in right now. Micaela, Ensley and Quinn join us so that's extra motivation!  One day this week it rained so it was in the mall and Lily ride the horse before class.

On Tuesday playgroup met at the Pumpkin Patch.  All the girls wore little boots (unplanned). I love all these kiddos and their mommies, can't believe it's already been 2 years since our first play date!

Thursday afternoon we packed up (a very full) car and went on our first trip as a family of four. We went down to Carmel Valley to Cathy & Sals house and met up with the Downers (minus their kiddos).  Thursday night they made as awesome steak dinner (since we hit a ton of traffic and arrived much later than anticipated). We drank some good wine and caught up.  Friday the boys had an early tee time, so us girls took a walk, relaxed and made lunch.  After the boys got home and the girls napped we all went to the pool/hot tub and played ping pong, horseshoes and Lily played on the playground.  That evening we went to the hacinda (he restaurant on property) and had an amazing meal. Lily & Piper were both amazing!  Saturday we lounged in pjs, drank mimosas, ate pancakes and watched football until almost 4! It was much needed.  We then headed into town to shop around and watch the sunset at the beach.  We headed back to the house around 7, cooked a bunch of yummy trader joes appitizers and watched the Giants game before heading out to the fire for games and smores after Lily & Piper went to bed.

We're back home now to reality :/ It was so nice to slow down and not be rushing around.  We're also so happy to have our dear friends Chris & Amy within driving distance from us!
