Napa day

Last Sunday we met up with Cathy & Sal (Cathy is Rollie's godmother) for a wonderful day of wine tasting and catching up. It's rare that we venture over to that side when I'm not going to work so it felt like we were tourists too!

After grabbing some picnic supplies at Oliver's market we headed up to Pride Mtn. Winery, one of my all time favorites. You can't beat the views and the staff and wine are great too. After Pride we headed down to Duckhorn, to picnic and show Cathy & Sal.

Our 3rd stop was a little gem off the beaten path called Tres Sabores...I could have sat there all day drinking wine and soaking up the nature. It's very small production and the wines are fantastic.

We had a early dinner reservation at Bottega in yountville but with 45 minutes or so to spare we made one last stop at Girard which has a small tasting room in downtown Yountville.

Dinner was unreal. We received VIP treatment from Matt, the sommelier since they are a big account of Duckhorn. The food and wine just kept coming and Lily was a saint through it all.

Such a great day!
